Schlagwerk EVO Cajon – Play-test & Review

Hey what’s up cajon players. I hope you’re doing well.

Today I’m going test and review a cajon by the German brand Schlagwerk:

This is the PRECISE OS EVO cajon:

 

Schlagwerk is known by their modern cajons. And The cajon I’m testing today is one of the top instruments of the brand.

Specs

The Body of this cajon is made of 20mm solid, smoked Alder wood, Beech wood in the back and 3ply Gabon wood in the front plate. This cajon has 2sets of 4 Cajon wires. And Each set of wires is individually tuneable. It comes with a tunning key located in the back of the cajon. This model the EVO Black comes with a Bass Tube specially created to increase the low frequency of the cajon. The size of the cajon is approx is 50cm x 30cm x30cm This cajon costs around 480€ in Europe and $650 in the US
