CAJON DRUM KIT Cajon with Pedal, Shaker, Cymbals, Snare and more…

Hello cajon players!

I am here today to show you interesting ideas of how to set up a cajon kit with a pedal and how you can add elements since you have now one free hand 🙂

It’s important to say here that the use of a pedal with the cajon will not work for all styles of music. For some styles it’s not even necessary and probably it will not sound good. The ideas I will show in this video I’ve used before and I think are good options when I use a cajon pedal.

So without further ado, let’s go to it.

These were some ideas to help you expand you cajon kit. As you can see the possibilities are endless.

Here are all the instruments I’ve presented in the video:

Meinl Direct Drive pedal –

Luis conte soft shaker –

Candela 10″ hihat –

Big Apple 22″ Ride –

Aluminium Snare drum (alternative) –

Bamboo Rod sticks –

Now I want to hear from you. I want to know more about your set ups. Which elements you have in your cajon kit?? Please leave all your thoughts below.

If you want to start playing the cajon you can check out my Free Starter Course

Thank you so much for watching the video, I’ll See you soon in the next one.
