NEW Brazilian Beat on Cajon

Hey cajon players! I hope you’re well.

I’m back here with another cajon lesson for you. In this lesson I will show how to play the Samba Partido Alto groove. This is another variation of the samba style that nowadays is used quite a lot in Brazilian instrumental music, in a style called “Samba Jazz”. This is a very cool groove that think will be great to add in your list of grooves.

As always we start slow at 50bpm. To then try it at 70bpm and to finish with the goal tempo of the tutorial 90bpm. I’ve included in the video the backing track I’ve played at the beginning for you to practice the groove with music.
