Hello! I hope you’re doing well
Today’s tutorial is of one of my favourites latin grooves, the Cha-Cha. This is another drum set groove I have Adapted to play on the cajon.
This is a simple groove, simple but not easy. The main thing of this groove is to get the right feel according to the music you are playing.
I will start slow at 65bpm for you to internalise the pattern and I want you to play with me. Then we go up a bit at 85bpm.
To then play at the goal tempo of this tutorial at 105bpm. Before start playing with me I suggest you to learn the pattern slow to integrate it well.
You can follow this groove with the free Pdf in Free Lessons Area
I’ve also include some suggestions of songs that you can apply the groove.
So, time to learn the groove, let’s get started!
I hope you like this tutorial
